Brittany Separated

Saint Michael the Archangel brings his sword, which represents God's Divine Justice, down upon the devil and the spirit of angry rebellion against God.

“It is the path of the Bretons,” says Saint Michael, “be proud of the name which you carry.”

Saint Michael makes me look at two small rivers. That which runs the closest to us has its water clear and pure.

Victim of the Cross,” says he, “you see this other small river. Look at the change which is going to be made there as soon as I go and immerse the point of my sword.”

Saint Michael turns the point of his sword in this river which is not of Brittany. The water begins to howl like a boiler of boiling oil, and it acts with fury. It seems to want the other small river.

Saint Michael says to the Archangel Raphael who comes to join us:

“Put a chain between the two streams.”

Saint Raphael attaches the chain to two white posts.

Here,” says he, “is the chain, the fence somehow, which separates Brittany from France...”

-- “But, holy Archangel, is it that Brittany will not always remain French?”

-- “Yes, it will always be French, but it will have one more gift. The Lord has chosen a name for it. This name shall be miraculously discovered by several souls who will have some revelations.”

“Bretons, you will know this name even before France is at the height of its iniquities and of its malice. This new name, it will be beautiful! It will glorify God as clearly as the sun shining at noon, in the heat of June.”

Reflection on this Prophecy:

This prophecy reveals the spirit of good and the spirit of evil through the image of two streams. As Saint Michael and Marie-Julie are good, so the stream that “runs the closest to [them]” represents the spirit of good. It has “water [that is] clear and pure.”

In this prophecy, Saint Michael has his sword, the weapon he uses to bring the Justice of God to mankind, ensuring that God's Will is done on earth as it is in Heaven.

No sooner does the tip of Saint Michael's sword go into the other stream, and the river is the image of rage: “The water begins to howl like a boiler of boiling oil, and it acts with fury.”

This other river represents the spirit of evil, which reacts angrily against any declaration of Truth or any imposition of God's Perfect Will.

Its actions denote pride (self-love) but also a burning hatred for the good, in that the spirit of evil, of rebellion, “seems to want the other small river” which implies a desire for the destruction of the good.

But God is in charge of all, and He will not permit the evil to destroy the good. Saint Michael tells Saint Raphael to “[p]ut a chain between the two streams” so as to separate the two.

Interestingly, Saint Raphael ties this chain to “two white posts” and one is reminded of the two white columns in Saint Don Bosco's dream which provide safe mooring for the embattled ship which is the persecuted Papacy and Church after 1958. Upon one column is the Blessed Sacrament, and upon the other is the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In this prophecy given to Marie-Julie Jahenny, the two posts present a much more humble image, and certainly a more rural one. There is nothing on top of these mere posts, but they are white, and they are able to firmly hold the chain which separates good and evil.

When Saint Michael points out that the chain acts like a fence to separate Brittany from France, Marie-Julie worries that her beloved Brittany will cease to be French in the future.

Saint Michael reassures her that Brittany will always be part of France, and this is how we know that the separation is not geographical or political, but a spiritual separation.  Brittany is a blessed land.

This makes sense when we consider the other prophecies given to Marie-Julie, where the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary both speak of the special love that the land of Saint Anne has in their Hearts, and of how Brittany has been blessed in a special way for the future.

Recall that the Sacred Heart calls us, the children faithful to the See of the Cross, to come to Brittany before the Three Days of Darkness, so as to find our survival easier.

Here the ground will shake less, and half of the crops will survive when the fire falls from the sky. Here there will be a ray of sunlight, from a separate sun, keeping Brittany warm and vibrant while the rest of the world experiences something quite different, and surely quite frightening.

The prophecies indicate that some of us will come after the Three Days of Darkness, and also that pilgrimages will be made to Marie-Julie's home, where a spring in the ground, to the south of her home, but close by, will provide miraculous cures of both bodily and spiritual ailments.

And there is a secret, which will be revealed to some souls, and this is a new name given to Brittany by God.

This new name “will be beautiful!”

The fact that it will also “glorify God” seems to bind Brittany with the spotless Bride of Christ, the Church, which has been suffering Her Exile in Silence.

This new name, in being both beautiful and glorifying God, must surely be connected to the restoration of the Chair of Saint Peter to the True Papal Line (which has been in Exile since October 26, 1958). There will be a universal recognition of the Holy Father, finally recognizable to all Catholics who are right of heart (good).

Only the Church, coming at last out of Her Silent Exile, can be said to be both beautiful and glorifying God in a clear way, through the Authority of the Magisterium, so that She is recognized by all: “the sun shining at noon, in the heat of June”.

And we do not have long to wait!  For this new name of Brittany's, which will reveal this land's connection to the Church in Exile, will be known even before the persecution against the Church and all Catholics reaches its apex: “even before France is at the height of its iniquities and of its malice.”

Let us have confidence in God, always confidence in His Mercy in the days of Tribulation. And let us ask God to help us to understand the significance of Brittany in our own lives, as we live and plan to do His Holy Will.

Here is Marie-Julie's prayer, which she said daily, to also help us to act according to the Divine Will:

Most Holy and Adorable Trinity,

enlighten me by Thy Understanding,

direct me by Thy Understanding,

conduct me by Thy Understanding.

Enlighten my way, oh Holy Trinity,

so that I walk continually in the way of the Truth.

Amen.
