Her Mission to be a Victim is Ours Also

Our Lord has, in His hand, a strong and thick chain, made of very solid links. He tells me:

“This chain is the chain of the Church. Your mission’s end will be to suffer more for My Church, since the struggle will leave Her no peace. The peace of present times will be very short, and it will be changed into a deep mourning, into sighs of sadness.”

Our Lord adds:

“I want that this chain be passed through your heart, like the lance passed through my body.

“All the blows directed at the Church will ring in your heart: you will feel them. The insults and all which She is made to suffer, you will feel.

“The weight which you feel very often, like a heavy stone which sinks the heart, it is the weight of all the ailments of My Church. With all My elect, you will help Me to expiate for the offences against this Holy Mother. That which I suffer, you will fully suffer.”

Concerning this chain, whereby all the ailments of the Church have communication with our hearts, Our Lord said:

“I attach the chain of My Holy Church to all Christian hearts in order that they remain faithful when the great revolt will come when the Christian Faith will be denied by those who preach it. This number is so large that My Divine Heart has never been more afflicted.”

(Madame Gregoire, 27 October 1884)

Reflection on this prophecy :

In this week’s prophecy, we learn that Christ our Lord gives Marie-Julie Jahenny the divine mission to suffer all the agonies of the satanic attacks against the Roman Catholic Faith.

At the time of this prophecy, 1884, Pope Pius IX’s imprisoned Papacy is over, and Pope Leo XIII is energetically trying to wield His divine Authority against the gathering forces of freemasonry—His encyclical exposing the evils of freemasonry is divinely inspired Truth, and a doctrinal strength to us in these times of satanic confusion.

We must also recall that it was Pope Leo XIII who heard the conversation between Christ and the devil, when the devil asked to be permitted to destroy the Holy Roman Catholic Church, and Christ our Lord gave him 100 years.

All we have to do is look around us, and see the confusion regarding the divine Authority given to the Papacy and to the Holy Roman Catholic Church, to know how close the devil has come to succeeding in his plans of destruction.

However, be assured that, just as the devil is the great deceiver and the father of lies, his methods have certainly not been fair.

We can count on this: the devil seeks to take away our God-given free will.

In fact, the poor wandering souls all around us should be regarded as truly enslaved.

And to a great degree, God has allowed the Church to become enslaved, in the sense that She is not free to preach the Truth in the world, and neither is She free to give Her children graces from Her Holy Sacraments.

The image is of the Church chained by “a strong and thick chain, made of very solid links.”

However, Christ Himself holds this chain in His hands, indicating that all of our suffering is a Spiritual Chastisement which God has allowed.

But God the Father loves us, infinitely, and so God the Son is telling Marie-Julie that He is allowing her to intercede for we Faithful of these times, so as to help to lessen our sufferings.

And Marie-Julie of the Cross (the name Christ has given her, and by which she will be known in Heaven) always says yes to God’s Holy Will.

What a great friend we have in Marie-Julie!

What a great example she gives us of moral courage!

Christ tells Marie-Julie: “Your mission’s end will be to suffer more for My Church, since the struggle will leave Her no peace.”

And Marie-Julie did intercede for us. Her sufferings became our prayers, and they were heard by God.

And, wondrously, the sufferings of the elect and their constrained prayers are also heard by God!

Christ gives us this holy hope when He tells Marie-Julie:

“With all My elect, you will help Me to expiate for the offences against this Holy Mother.”

But how? How can the prayers of the elect be heard by God since souls are without sanctifying grace from the Holy Sacraments?

Well, there is One whose intentions for all of us, which are offered daily through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, are truly heard by God. That person is Christ’s own Vicar, the exiled Pope.

His sufferings, like our sufferings, keep us close to Our Crucified Lord.

Through our very Holy Father’s daily Mass, our dearest intentions for Holy Mother Church, and for the salvation of souls, are being heard!

But we have our responsibilities also! We Faithful are not to be simply passive in these times of apostasy. Oh no! We are to WILLINGLY and ACTIVELY embrace our sufferings daily, as VICTIMS, and recognize in them the gift of Faith, and the chance to expiate for the innumerable sins against Holy Mother Church!

Christ explains this to Marie-Julie:

“I attach the chain of My Holy Church to all Christian hearts in order that they remain faithful when the great revolt will come when the Christian Faith will be denied by those who preach it.

Yes, we are living in that “great revolt”. Ah, what the devil has accomplished…!

Our knowledge of the Truth is our salvation, but with the Truth of the “great revolt” comes a pain “like a heavy stone which sinks the heart”.

And if we think our pains are a heavy burden, we must think of the extreme pain and shock that will come to those who think that they are consecrated to God but are not, when, standing before the judgement throne of God the Father at their individual judgments, they learn the shocking and condemning Truth that they are not!

What great pain must be theirs, what bitter disappointment in themselves when they learn the shocking Truth! Their sufferings should provoke our pity and our daily prayers.

May God the Father be Merciful on all our souls!

[Canon 1825]  If anyone then says that it is not from the institution of Christ the Lord Himself, or by divine right that the blessed Peter has perpetual successors in the primacy over the universal Church, or that the Roman Pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in the same primacy, let him be anathema.
