Was Mont St. Michel Ever a Part of Brittany?
Thomas P: Was Mont Saint-Michel ever part of the territory of Brittany? I guess much of the area immediately around the island abbey is part of Brittany.
MJJP: Yes, it used to be a part of Brittany. The area is now called South Normandy with, of course, a common border with Brittany.
